Description
#1's are our most popular coarse aggregate, primarily 1/2" by 1/4" in size with a top size of 1". Mainly used in ready mix concrete and hot mix asphalt, it also has some uses for the homeowner. It can be used in walkways and driveways, or for drainage stone. #1's are also available as a screened or rounded shape used primarily for drainage. Both crushed and screened are clean and will not compact.
